Where We Work

Kerrville is home base. We work throughout Kerr County and out into the surrounding Hill Country — and if you're just past the edge of this list, it's still worth a call.

Kerr County & Beyond

Travel time affects scheduling more than it affects price. The closer you are, the easier it is to fit small jobs in — larger projects we'll travel further for.

Kerrville

Home base · Kerr County

Our primary service area, from the older neighborhoods near the river to the newer construction on the outskirts. Everything from single-item handyman visits to full renovations.

Ingram

~7 miles northwest

Close enough for routine handyman calls and small repairs, with plenty of older homes that are good candidates for kitchen and bath updates.

Hunt

~16 miles west

River properties and weekend homes along the Guadalupe. We regularly handle seasonal maintenance, repairs, and rental turnaround work out this way.

Center Point

~10 miles southeast

A short trip down the highway. Well within range for both small jobs and full remodeling projects.

Comfort

~18 miles southeast · Kendall County

Older housing stock with real character — the kind of homes where careful carpentry and sympathetic renovation matter more than a quick flip.

Mountain Home

~17 miles northwest

Rural properties and ranch homes. Worth grouping several items into one visit given the drive.

Fredericksburg

~24 miles north · Gillespie County

We take on larger remodeling projects here. For small single-item repairs the travel usually isn't practical — call and we'll be straight with you about it.

Bandera

~26 miles south · Bandera County

Larger projects and multi-day work. Good candidate area for whole-room renovations rather than quick fixes.

Boerne

~45 miles southeast · Kendall County

At the outer edge of our range. We'll travel for substantial remodeling projects — ask when you call.

A note on distance

We'd rather be upfront than have you wait on a callback that isn't coming. Travel time is real cost, and it affects small jobs far more than large ones — an hour each way makes a thirty-minute repair uneconomical for both of us, while it barely registers on a three-week kitchen.

So the practical guidance is: if you're in Kerrville, Ingram, Hunt, Center Point, or Mountain Home, call us for anything, however small. If you're further out, we're glad to take on remodeling work and multi-day projects — and for small repairs at that distance, we'll tell you honestly if you'd be better served by someone closer.

Not on the list? The boundaries aren't rigid. If you're in the Hill Country and have a project in mind, call 830-285-3509 and ask. The worst outcome is a straight answer and a pointer toward someone better placed to help.

Working on river property

Homes along the Guadalupe come with their own considerations. Many are second homes or short-term rentals, which means work often has to be scheduled around booked weekends and finished on a firm date rather than a flexible one. Properties near the water can also carry floodplain considerations that affect what's permitted and how it has to be built. If that's your situation, mention it early — it shapes both the schedule and the scope.

In the Hill Country?

Tell us where you are and what you need. If we're the right fit we'll come look; if we're not, we'll say so.
